Huiyao Chen

Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

My research interests include sustainable investing, corporate finance, information economics, and financial markets. 

My current research focuses on the real effects of ESG investing. Particularly, I study how ESG investors influence firms' real investments in the environment with information frictions.

I am currently on the job market for the 2024–2025 academic year.
